Watch Funeral For A Friend perform ‘Roses For The Dead’ at their recent Dr Martens show

By Ben Tipple

Funeral For A Friend recently played an intimate show at Cabaret Voltaire in Edinburgh as part of the Dr Martens #STANDFORSOMETHING tour.

With their forthcoming record ‘Chapter and Verse’ set for release, fans were given the opportunity to re-live the band’s early days with a special performance of ‘Roses For The Dead’, taken from ‘Hours’.

The #STANDFORSOMETHINGTOUR offers bands the chance to play small venue shows, supported by a chosen ethos. “The idea that music can break down walls that segregate us in everyday life and can make you feel a part of something larger than yourself, that’s something to stand for,” explains Matt Davies-Kreye. “A real sense of community and belonging.”
