Rotterdam punks Video Store have a particularly strong musical heritage. Between them they have played in Face Tomorrow, Modern Life is War, Razor Crusade, Malkovich, Gold, Kill Traitors, and Sepiroth, and currently still play in Backfire, Winterdagen, Halfway Station and Joshua Woods. Mix them all together and you get ‘Cop Jokes’, a nod to The Replacements era punk plus a dab of mid-western emo.
