Californian punks Tsunami Bomb have signed to Kung Fu Records. The label has released a statement telling us about their latest signings.
It reads: “After much debate and gossip within the punk scene, Bay Area punk outfit Tsunami Bomb have signed with Kung Fu Records.
“The four-piece group hailing from Petaluma, CA will bring
their fast, hook-driven, female-fronted goth-punk to a
label known for its diversity among the punk scene. Having toured relentlessly with AFI, The Vandals, The Ataris, The Living End, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Bigwig & H2O, as well as rocking countless Warped Tours, Tsunami Bomb have worked very hard to
achieve the level of success they are at.
“Now, with prime billing on this summer’s Warped Tour,
the world will soon recognize that Tsunami Bomb are a force to be dealt with. Tsunami Bomb will join fellow Kung Fu bands Ozma, Useless I.D., mi6, Antifreeze and Audio Karate this summer, making it a whopping six bands from Kung Fu on this summer’s Warped Tour.
“Tsunami Bomb are getting ready to record their debut album for Kung Fu, which will be released Fall 2002.”
