Brighton three-piece Tigercub are streaming their ‘Repressed Semantics’ EP in full ahead of release.
“In June 2015 we went into Brighton Electric Studios to record seven songs that would make up an AA side single and an E.P – we wanted the recordings to reflect where we are as a band and as songwriters right now. We kept overdubs to a minimum and only recorded what we could pull off in the room. No shortcuts,” the band explain.
“Repressed Semantics’ is a bi-polar mixture of songs that represent to us, a cocktail of aggression and restraint, bottled up frustration and an absolute rejection of ideals presented to us by a divorcee-generation of self medicated baby-boomers. The old rules no longer apply. You are your life and nothing else.”
The EP will be available to buy from the 27th November via Venn Records, with the band currently touring across the UK alongside Youth Man.
