Submitted: “Nitro Records announced today the signing of the Chicago-based band, Much The Same. Sonically, Much The Same bring a Midwest flavor to the West Coast tradition of melodic, punk rock along the lines of bands like Bad Religion and No Use For A Name. The band’s debut album, Quitters Never Win, was released on A-F records in 2003 and the band has played with the likes of Bad Religion, Rise Against, Thrice, Strike Anywhere, Anti-Flag, and A Wilhelm Scream. Much the Same will begin recording their new album, Survive, in February with Cameron Webb producing. In the meantime, fans can listen to demos for their new album on their myspace page: http://myspace.com/muchthesame”
