MxPx release a DVD and acoutsic EP on SideOneDummy later this month. According to the label newsletter, the releases are: “”B-Movie” features live versions of such MxPx classics as Tomorrow is Another Day,Well Adjusted, Responsibility, PxPx, and Let it Happen. As well as takes fans behind-the-scenes to see what makes the band tick, from confessing their own roles in this dysfunctional, but working family, and answering hate mail from a distraught mom insisting the group is corrupting her daughter to interviews with their rabid followers. The five-song EP includes acoustic versions of “Invitation to Understanding” (from ’98’s A&M album Slowly Going the Way of the Buffalo, with violin accompaniment) and the crowd favorite “Quit Your Life,” from 2003’s Before Everything and After, the band’s final album for A&M. Three songs are exclusive to the AC/EP, “The Silver Screen,” “Where Will We Go?” (originally on a 2000 PolyGram video, It Came From Bremerton) and “Grey Skies Turn Blue,” which is now slated to appear on the group’s next album, scheduled to come out early summer 2005 on LA based Independent label SideOneDummy Records.” The band are expected to tour the UK early next year.
