By Tom Aylott

The Stranglers have detailed an early 2014 UK tour, with presales available now.

See what the band had to say about the tour below, and check out the dates too:

Ruby Anniversary UK tour 2014
We can exclusively reveal the first confirmed gigs in the band’s itinerary for the 2014, their 40th anniversary year. From the end of February and throughout March, the band will undertake a ‘Ruby Anniversary’ tour across the UK consisting of a massive 22 dates.
As has become customary in recent years, the tour kicks off North of the border with a trio of Scottish dates in Inverness, Glasgow and Dunfermline before heading South. The London date sees a return to the Hammersmith Apollo (originally Odeon!) which the band last played back in 2010.
Also, for the first time since Aberystwyth on the 4240 tour, the band are crossing the Severn Bridge for a gig in Wales which takes place at Cardiff University Solus. There are gigs in seldom visited places like Folkestone and Southend as well before the tour culminates at the Manchester Academy.
