The Spook School reveal new track and video, ‘Gone Home’

By Ben Tipple

Scottish indie-punk four-piece The Spook School have unveiled their new track ‘Gone Home’. The accompanying video reflects the track’s style, blending an upbeat and free sound with darker undertones. As vocalist Anna Cory picks off her bandmates one-by-one, she sings “and now I’ve gone home, to an empty house where all of these stories, could’ve been me.”

The track is taken from the forthcoming Fortuna POP and Slumberland split release ‘Continental Drift’, which also features Tigercats, Mercury Girls and Wildhoney. The EP will be available from the 26th August. In the meantime, you can also stream The Spook School’s 2015 LP, ‘Try To Be Hopeful‘.
