Milwaukee emo legends The Promise Ring have posted a cryptic message across their social media. Coming with the hashtag #welcometo2016, the image shows a champagne glass, with bubbles bearing a striking resemblance to the colours on the sleeve of their classic 1997 album ‘Nothing Feels Good’. Aside from a couple of very brief reunion shows, The Promise Ring disbanded in 2002 following their ‘Wood/Water’ album that was released that year. This comes after Jade Tree Records announced reissues of all three of the bands albums that were released on the label – ’30 Degrees Everywhere’, ‘Nothing Feels Good’, and ‘Very Emergency’, which are all available for pre-order now.
