It seems like a long time since Good Charlotte have released new songs. They will in the future, but for now – Benji and Joel Madden have started a new project called The Madden Brothers. It has been a couple of days since the release of a new single ‘We are done’ – taken from their upcoming album ‘Greetings from California’, which will be released on the 7th of October via Capitol Records.
With no doubt, the sound is completely different from Joel’s singing in ‘Lifestyles of the rich and famous’. However, as Benji has mentioned on their website: “The idea was to not hide behind a band name or a genre, but rather to write some songs, and find someone to record them and help us deliver the truest picture of who we are musically.”
‘We are done’ might become another ‘Anthem’ but with pop vibe and a bit of Californian sunshine.
