From the King Blues mailout: “We were scheduled to play a ‘free party’ in the heart of London’s financial district on May Day. It ended up in Canary Wharf but the police were on us quick. We were searched, ASBO’d and barred from the area within 10 minutes– worse still one copper asked us if we were save ferris fans! The party went on successfully anyway with a human maypole, street theatre and music.”
