Taken from punknews.org: ” My Chemical Romance are set to enter the studio with longtime Green Day producer Rob Cavallo on April 10. Cavallo has been behind the knobs for every Green Day record – with the sole exception of Warning – since 1994’s Dookie and will be recording the follow up to MCR’s breakthrough Warner debut, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge. According to the band: “The songs are wicked. There’s some really dark stuff, and some touches of Queen and the Doors. And there’s some really experimental parts that sound a bit like System of a Down. But all of that is mixed with a big shot of My Chemical Romance.” While the album is still being written, Cavallo hints that the album will follow a concept and is tentatively titled The Rise and Fall of My Chemical Romance.”
