The Breeders release first new song in 8 years, ‘Wait in the Car’

By Aaron Lohan

The Breeders have released their first new song in nearly a decade, entitled ‘Wait in the Car’.

Not only is the song the first new material since 2009’s ‘Fate to Fatal’ EP, it is also the first tracks to feature the line up of vocalist/guitarist Kim Deal, guitarist Kelley Deal, drummer Jim MacPherson and bassist Josephine Wiggs. In others the line up which recorded and released their seminal 1992 second album ‘Last Splash’. It is a taste of a new record the alt rockers have apparently been working on and will be releasing soon via 4AD.

The band will also be playing the following UK/Ireland shows with Pins this month.
