The Blackout have released the official video for ‘Wolves’, the title track from their forthcoming EP, due on the 27th October.
The release of the EP will be followed by a tour alongside Yashin and When We Were Wolves. Both mark the end of a difficult 18 months which saw singer Gavin Butler struck down with a sudden neurological issue. In better news, ‘Wolves’ was funded entirely through a Kickstarter campaign, which reached its target in just 3 hours.
“It took a lot of determination and sacrifice to pick ourselves up and carry on with The Blackout,” Butler admits. “The main reason this happened was our vision for โWolvesโ. Writing these songs not only gave us a way to vent our frustrations but gave us a fresh fervor for making music and the much needed awakening to the fact that we all love being a band. So we thought, lets just take back control.”
