Sum 41 pull out of Kerrang! tour, replaced by The Blackout

By Tom Aylott

SUM 41 have pulled out of the forthcoming “Kerrang! Tour Sponsored By Relentless Energy Drink” with NEW FOUND GLORY, LETLIVE and WHILE SHE SLEEPS. They will be replaced by THE BLACKOUT.

Deryck Whibley said the following:
“I feel really terrible about letting down the fans. I injured my back about eight months ago and the doctors are saying that I could be in a wheelchair. So, as much as I wanted to be able to do it, I’ve got to look at reality, and for the first time I’ve got to listen to somebody else and not just myself. We’re all really upset about this; we’ve had such a great relationship with our UK fans. We were really looking forward to this tour.”

The tour stops at the following dates:

February
04 DUBLIN Academy
05 DUBLIN Academy
07 SOUTHAMPTON Guildhall
08 NORWICH UEA
10 BRISTOL O2 Academy
11 CARDIFF University Great Hall
12 NEWCASTLE O2 Academy
13 GLASGOW O2 ABC
15 MANCHESTER Academy
16 BIRMINGHAM Academy
17 LONDON Roundhouse
