Straight Lines vocalist Tom Jenkins has unveiled his debut solo track, ‘Still Alive’. With a country-folk twist, the track continues to demonstrates Jenkins’ evident ability to write a catchy melody. It’s pop hook drives it forward, placing it somewhere between his full band’s material and traditional singer-songwriter territory.
Basically, it’s pretty great. It will also appear on his forthcoming debut EP, ‘Screamdogs’.
