Skaters stream new track, ‘The Loner’

By Ben Tipple

Indie post-punk crossovers Skaters are streaming their new track, ‘The Loner’. The track will appear on the band’s forthcoming ‘Rock and Roll Bye’ EP, due on the 13th May 2016.

“‘The Loner’ was an early favorite during the making of our second album,” the band’s Michael Ian Cummings explains, “while some songs stand out with clever production or catchy lyrics, this song rose to the top due to pure raw power. This is skaters live on a good night, if you find yourself so lucky.”

Skaters recently cut ties from Warner Bros Records in favour of independent label 25 Hour Convenience Store. Their new album is expected to drop in August 2016.
