According to Max, “It’s going to be a lot more about what happens once you’ve gained an identity, rather than searching for one, which is what the last record was about. This one’s about knowing who you are and how to love with it.” He also added that the record is about “being confident in yourself, but it’s also more about people and personal relationships. A lot of the past record is all about me and my problems. This one will be about observations of other people.””
