Straight off the back of his heavy-duty Warped Tour stint, Rob Lynch returns with ‘Whiskey’ – taken from his forthcoming debut full-length, ‘All These Nights In Bars Will Somehow Save My Soul’.
“This is a song about a night my father and I had together where we drank too much whiskey and played each other our favourite songs,” Rob says of the emotional track. “He died when I was 21, and when I first went to visit him in hospital, I was walking down the corridor towards his ward and I could hear him telling the other patients around him the story about that night we had.”
Lynch’s long-awaited LP will be released via Xtra Mile Recordings on the 22nd September 2014, and follows a plethora of singles and EPs.
‘All These Nights In Bars Will Somehow Save My Soul’ is available to pre-order via Xtra Mile. For more on Rob Lynch, head to his official Facebook page.
Rob Lynch will be playing acoustically at Hevy Festival this year on the Thursday, before embarking on a UK tour come September.
