Relapse Records announce reissue of classic Death album, ‘Scream Bloody Gore’.

By Glen Bushell

Relapse Records have announced a reissue of Death’s seminal 1987 album, ‘Scream Bloody Gore’.

Arguably the most influential death metal record of all time, ‘Scream Bloody Gore’ has been remastered, and will feature expanded artwork, extensive liner notes, and previously unreleased material from the band.

Death broke up in 2001, following the passing of guitarist/vocalist Chuck Schuldiner to brain cancer, but the bands legacy has never been forgotten. Several members of Death have paid tribute to the band over the years, performing under the name Death To All.

‘Scream Bloody Gore’ is available to pre-order in a variety of packages via Relapse Records, and will be reissued on May 20th. Listen to the classic track, ‘Zombie Ritual’, below.
