Reading and Leeds Festival add a heap of alternative acts

Having confirmed a handful of heavier rock acts across the festival weekend, including Crossfaith and Twenty One Pilots, Reading and Leeds organisers have confirmed a list of acts taking to The Pit stage, as well as Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes and Sleeping With Sirens graduating to the Main Stage.

The news comes as Dillinger Escape Plan return to the festival following their notorious 2002 appearance, joined by Asking Alexandria, Fearless Vampire Killers, Creeper, Citizen, Wakrat and Dead! on The Pit stage.

“We are incredibly excited to be playing Reading and Leeds festival this year,” Creeper announced. “Members of our band have been attending these festivals since we were kids, it is an incredible honour to have been asked to play and we promise a very special show.”

“I can’t believe that WAKRAT will be playing Reading and Leeds this year,” adds Rage Against The Machine’s Tim Commerford. “It’s a blessing to play and introduce my new passion to a part of the world that has been so good to me and has some of the most incredible fans and we hope to win more over.”

Reading and Leeds will take place from the 26th to the 28th August 2015. Full details and tickets are available via the respective websites.
