Punktastic goes on tour!

OK, here’s the big news. Punktastic is proud to announce that it is sponsoring the forthcoming Fletcher, Jerry-Built and Route 215 UK tour. While this may not sound all that great to some of you, this is a big honour for us that the three bands asked us to get involved. Fletcher, Jerry-Built and Route 215 are three of the best new British bands around and we know that this time next year they will all be huge bands. When we started Punktastic we never thought anyone would read us – nearly a year on we have 1600 regular daily readers that actually enjoy what we write. All three bands have been cool to us and we thank them loads for helping us get our name out to other people. Added to the tour is that the boys have allowed Punktastic to let some of ‘our’ bands support them too, with Milk2Sugars and My Awesome Compilation on some of the dates. We want you all to go out and get tickets and support these UK bands. The dates for the tour are as follows:
The Punktastic/Deck Cheese/Big Cheese Tour, with Fletcher, Jerry-Built and Route 215
October 2nd – Brighton, The Freebutt
October 4th – Staffordshire, The Rugeley Rose
October 9th – Bristol with Grebo.
October 10th – Leeds Joseph’s Well with Milk 2 Sugars
October 13th Leicester Charlotte with My Awesome Compilation.
October 14th – Aberdeen, (Without Jerry-built)
October 15th – Scotland, Leven (without Jerry-built)
October 16th – Scotland, Edinburgh (without Jerry-built)
October 17th – Glasgow (without Jerry-built)
October 18th – Hartlepool, The Studio
October 19th – Harlow, The Square (with Lightyear and No Comply)
October 23rd – Birmingham, The Flapper with The Killerest
Expression

Dates for Sheffield, Nottingham and London are also in the works. Tickets are ultra-cheap as the bands aren’t in this for lots of cash, so get down to the gigs, sell out the venues and buy their cds and t-shirts. This is the first of many exciting things that Punktastic has lined up before Christmas, with other UK bands and tours and gigs and things. Tell all your friends and get down to a gig and come and say hello – we just hope you have as much fun as we will.
