Pounded By The Surf release and stream new album

By Ben Tipple

Pounded By The Surf, the instrumental band from “Jerkwater” USA founded by The Bronx and Mariachi El Bronx mastermind Joby J. Ford, are streaming their new album in full to celebrate its release.

“Removing the surf green vinyl from its desert landscape jacket – one is presented with instant confusion – a crossroads (if you will),” the band say in their press release. “The surf green vinyl screams the ocean, yet the cover screams the desert. What does this say? What does this mean? Is Donald Trump going to be the next President? Herein lies the answer rather than the question. With the headphones on – close your eyes and you are instantly transported to where the desert meets the ocean – “The Docean” (this probably isn’t a word).”

“Actually, I made all that up. We made this record in a living room 2 years ago. Bio’s suck – let’s surf,” they conclude.

Grab the record via iTunes, and find out more at Pounded By The Surf’s official website.
