Pohgoh release first new music in 19 years

By Glen Bushell

Reformed indie/emo band Pohgoh have released their first new music in 19 years. The Florida based band unveiled new track ‘Try Harder’ over at Washed Up Emo, and according to vocalist Susie Ulrey, the band pretty much picked up where they left off:

“We wrote and arranged this song in a couple of hours,” says Ulrey about ‘Try Harder’. “For the first song we’ve written in 19 years, it was pretty easy. It’s like we all started speaking the same language again.”

Pohgoh’s last release was their one and only full-length ‘In Memory Of Bab’ in 1997, which came from after a string of fantastic EP’s, including a split with Braid.

No word has been released as to wether or not they have further plans for more music, but you can check out the excellent ‘Try Harder’ below.
