Phinius Gage tour and new EP planned

Brighton skate punkers Phinius Gage are set to head out on tour at the end of next week, and have told Punktastic all about their plans to record a new EP.

The tour kicks off on June 28 in Hastings and will feature shows all across the southern half of the UK.

And in addition to that the band have already booked valuable studio time to record the follow-up to last years ‘Econ’ EP.

Matt Steele told us: “We’ve booked in to the studio to record the much awaited follow up to last year’s Econ EP. We’ll be living it up on the rich side (or poor side?) at Premier Studios with Ian Weatherall. Keep an eye out for a late
Summer / early Autum release.”

The dates for the tour are as follows:

Fri June 28th – Hastings – The Carlisle with My Dad Joe and Texas Hold-ems
Sat June 29th – London – Bull and Gate (Kentish Town tube) with Cousin Joey
Sat July 13th – Bath – PorterButt with Mouthwash and The Setbacks
Tue July 16th – Brighton – Presure Point with DOA, MTA and Slaughterhouse 57
Wed July 17th – Winchester – Railway Inn with Howard’s Alias, Appease, Diatribe
Sat July 20th – Easbourne – Stringbendys with Chemical Reaction, Fluff Castle
Wed July 24th – Pontypridd – Victoria Inn with Chemical Reaction, Fluff Castle
Thu July 25th – Torquay – Hideaway with Chemical Reaction, Fluff Castle
Sat July 27th – Cardiff – Cathays Community Centre with Chemical Reaction, Pothole, Pete’s Sake
Sun July 28th – Winchester – Railway Inn with Chemical Reaction, Spankboy, ButMeNoButs, Harsh
Tue July 30th – Brighton – Pressure Point with Chemical Reaction and Fluff Castle
