Patrick Stump reveals solo album possibility via Twitter

By Ben Tipple

Fall Out Boy vocalist Patrick Stump has revealed a possible follow-up to 2011’s ‘Soul Punk’ solo album. Taking part in an online Q&A via Twitter, Stump responded to a question regarding another ‘Soul Punk’ with, “probably not. I may do another solo record but it’ll sound very different I think.”

The Q&A also saw Stump hint at complexities in booking solo tours, adding that a future solo tour is “harder to predict”.

As well as pondering the difficulties of fame and the existence of aliens, Stump also confessed that his earlier work is not of the exacting standards he would have liked. We’d imagine many fans would beg to differ.
