Now there’s only half a show

Brian and Derrick have left The Reunion Show. The band, now down to two members, released this statement on their website: “So, here is the latest–there have been tons of crazy rumors going around now for a while, and it’s time to squelch them once and for all…the reunion show HAS NOT broken up, and we will be releasing a brand new album on victory records in the early part of next year. When we returned home from our last tour, brian and derrick decided to leave the band, and move on to pursue other things. They left on good terms, and we (mark and i) wish them the very best (you can catch brian teching for brand new on tour with dashboard right now if you want to say hi). We had initially planned to take some time off to work on new material, and to prepare to go into the studio and do our next record–and that is essentially what we are doing–brian and derrick’s departure hasn’t set us back a bit! Mark and i have been writing tons of new songs that we are really excited about. We are going to try and get demos, and any new stuff on our brand new website as soon as possible.”
