With their highly anticipated debut album ‘Wishful Thinking’ ready for release on the 13th January 2014, Neck Deep have posted the video for their brand new single ‘Growing Pains’.
The video looks back at youth and young love. ““The video is supposed to be a fun attempt at recreating 90’s pop culture, revolving around simple, universal themes that anyone can relate to: adolescence, love and friendship,” explains bassist Thorpe-Evans. “We think it looks, feels and sounds different to what’s out there in the scene right now. We wanted the whole thing to be like a big flashback. Being that age is such a distinct moment in time, and it retains a certain tone in your memory banks. Whether you’re young now or whether those days are long ago, we hope this video captures that glow a little bit.”
Neck Deep have just completed an UK tour with this year’s sweethearts The Wonder Years, and will take the show back on the road for their own headline stint in January 2014 supported by next year’s tip, ROAM.
