Movements announce debut EP and stream new track, ‘Kept’

By Ben Tipple

Californian four-piece Movements have unveiled release details for their debut EP, ‘Outgrown Things’. The release marks their first since signing to Fearless Records, and is spawning new material since the online removal of last year’s demos.

Having already revealed ‘Protection‘, the band have now shared the official video for ‘Kept’.

“‘Kept’ was written about my struggles with depression, anxiety, and self hate,” explains vocalist Patrick Miranda. “I had never felt lower in my entire life than I did when this song was being written. I lacked self confidence and any sort of hope. I wanted nothing more than to have some sort of belief system or compass that I could turn to for support.”

‘Outgrown Things’ has been produced by Will Yip, and will be available from the 11th March 2016.
