Mindset announce break up and final EP

By Glen Bushell

Maryland hardcore band Mindset have announced they are calling it a day. They will disband next year after a string of farewell shows, and one final EP titled ‘Nothing Less’, which will be released in February next year via React! Records. The bands vocalist Ed Wivell released the following statement about the bands plans:

“We’ve always been very meticulous in how we operate as a band and this final chapter is no different. This is something we’ve been planning for a long time. We’re proud of what we’ve built together and we’re excited to share these last songs and go out on a high note. We’ve created a final tour schedule that will allow us to play some of our favourite places one last time, and hit a few that we’ve been neglecting, so keep your ear to the ground for details to be announced.”

Since forming in 2009, Mindset have released several EP’s, as well as their acclaimed full length ‘Leave No Doubt’ in 2012. We wish the members of the band all the best for their future endeavours.
