At The Drive-In drummer Tony Hajjar, bassist and vocalist Troy Sanders of Mastodon, Queens Of The Stone Age guitarist Troy Van Leeuwen, and guitarist and keyboardist Mike Zarin have teamed up to form experimental rock band, Gone Is Gone.
Revealed via Rolling Stone magazine, the supergroup will make their first live appearance at Los Angeles’ Dragonfly on the 27th April 2016. They will also drop their new EP this summer, previewing new track ‘Violescent’ below.
According to the Rolling Stone interview, the band were brought together through Hajjar and Zarin’s soundtrack work, bringing in Van Leeuwen and Sanders as the project developed.
