If you haven’t seen it yet, there’s a short documentary online delving into Banquet Records and owner, Jon Tolley. Presented by Wormhole Productions, it looks at Tolley’s early interest in music, Banquet Records and Kingston’s wider music scene, and Tolley’s involvement in local council.
In it, Tolley discusses the relationship between heritage and music, and how getting involved in local politics can provide a platform for the youth voice.
This is well worth a watch.
