Having unveiled the track towards the start of August, Meat Wave have now unleashed the official video for ‘Cosmic Zoo’. The track will appear on the band’s forthcoming ‘Delusion Moon’ LP, due on the 18th September 2015.
“A lot of music videos are very disenchanting because they’re so phony,” vocalist and guitarist Chris Sutter explains. “Andrew [Morrison, director] followed us around for three days and filmed us working, rehearsing, and hanging with friends and people we love. This video is so special to me because Andrew made something really beautiful out of all of that and it’s real as hell.”
Meat Wave are gearing up to play Riot Fest in Chicago, as well as a number of yet-to-be-announced in-store performances. The band will head over to mainland Europe and the UK later this year.
