We have been asked by Gash‘s management team to post the following statement regarding their split: “It is true that Gash will be no more after 2003, however its members Jon, Matt and Jay will be launching a new project in 2004 which will allow them to move away from the pop-punk moniker they have previously been branded with. There have been an overwhelming amount of negatives over the past 2 years which have seriously affected the band and their perception of the music industry. This has made it impossible for them to continue under their current circumstances.”
