Submitted: Monday 17th July is the date to witness the mother of all David and Goliath events. THE KING BLUES plan to break “Status Quo’s” 1991 world record of ‘most gigs played in 24 hours’. Status Quo’s sell out 24 hour tour ‘Rock Til You Drop’ raised £2,000,000 for children’s charities. The event took a year to organise and included: 4 stages, 60 drums, 200 amps, 62 guitars, 105 cymbals, 12 miles of cable, 50 cameras, 2 million watts of power, 250 crew, 8 helicopters, 5 jets, 20 limousines, 16 police escorts. On Monday 17th July 2006, THE KING BLUES plan to break this record. This event took 1 hour to organise and will include: 1 crew, 2 cameras, An old ambulance.
