Josh Chandler Morris and Carly Slade become Hope In High Water

By Ben Tipple

Singer-songwriting pair Josh Chandler Morris and Carly Slade have renamed themselves as Hope In High Water.

“After a couple of months of careful consideration we’ve decided that the mouthful that is ‘Josh Chandler Morris & Carly Slade’ is no more,” the duo announced on Facebook.

“We’ve thrown around loads of ideas from the hilarious to the plain cheesy and have finally settled on ‘Hope In High Water’. We feel that the new name represents what we do pretty well, although on the surface our songs can sometimes appear a little bleak, there is always an underlying message of hope and positivity.”

The announcement concluded with a promise of new material under the new name in early 2016.
