It’s the official end-of-tour party next Friday for the first Punktastic tour (even if it’s not really the last gig) and the boys want your help to make it go down even better. Because Fletcher, Route 215 and Jerry-Built are playing for nowt as part of a charity gig at the Verge, with all funds raised going to the British Herat Foundation. Jerry-Built’s Andy told Punktastic: “Your support at this gig would be much appreciated as its a charity gig for the British Heart Foundation! Not to bee too serious, but my Grandpa is one of many people who have been diagnosed with a terminal heart condition! He has been very seriously ill, in and out of hospital a few times over the last year and half! He was very touch and go for a while, and I thought we’d lost him, but due to technology, i.e. the implanting of a pacemaker and various drugs, and not to forget the home help provided he has made an amazing recovery and still is alive today! All money after the venue has been paid for will go to the charity! It won’t be much money but at least it might help to give some other people diagnosed with a heart condition a chance of a greater quality of life.”
