Jamie Lenman (ex-Reuben) set to release a new album and to tour

By Ben Tipple

From the ashes of one of the best bands of the last decade (it’s true), former Reuben frontman and guitarist Jamie Lenman is set to return with a 23 track double album. ‘Muscle Memory’ is set for release on the 4th November 2013 via Xtra Mile Recordings; the home of Frank Turner and Against Me! (amongst others).

Split into two, the first disc will feature the heavier side of Lenman’s compositions. Expect heaps of brutal riffs and cracked vocals. The second disc will be an entirely more melody-driven affair allowing Lenman to showcase his songwriting.

The first single will follow suit, not only delivering one heavy and one mellow track, but also being offered as a 7″ split with Mongol Horde – Frank Turner’s side project.

Lenman will be playing an exclusive pre-release show at The Islington in London on the 16th October before a full tour in support of the album later in the year.
