Isn’t this a bit, well, cheeky?

Submitted: “For those who just can’t get enough of Surrey quintet Meet Me In St. Louis, you’ll be pleased to hear that the boys are hard at work writing a new collection of songs for their debut album, due out next year on Big Scary Monsters Records. With more of the same crazy energy and precision chaos as 2006’s incredibly well received EP, the album promises to be a sharp set of frenetic melodies taking as many meandering tangents as David Lynch in a labyrinth with a broken compass! The boys have secured acclaimed producer Alex Newport (At The Drive-In, The Mars Volta, Two Gallants, The Locust, The Icarus Line) to steer their ship forthright, however, are struggling to raise the £7,000 needed for such esteemed services. If you’d like to help a worthy band realise their dream, get yourself over to www.meetmeinstlouis.co.uk where they’re collecting donations and if you pledge anything over a pound they’ll show their utmost gratitude by listing you in the “Thanks…” inside the album’s sleeve.”
