Submitted by Rob: “Just read this on the front page of Exeter’s Cavern Club (www.cavernclub.co.uk): Tue 9 Mar :: We had a good night with Squirtgun on Monday – wierdly, another surrogate local band even though members have been in Alkaline Trio, Screeching Weasel, Common Rider & The Queers! Why? because guitarist Flav Giorgini married a girl from Exeter and thus has been in the Cavern for a fry up on a number of occasions over the years. I had a good chat with his brother (& bassist) Mass who reckons they’ll be here for Christmas. I was such a fan of Screeching Weasel – he said they will be getting back together for a US tour after the summer. “
