InMe members officially unveil tech-metal project Centiment

By Ben Tipple

An unexpected move for some, three of the four members of InMe have formed a new tech-metal band. Dave McPherson, Greg McPherson and Gazz Marlow have been joined by Neil Howard and Mark Shurety in their new venture. Centiment sound as suitably schizophrenic as you might expect, adding a raw edge to the likes of Protest The Hero.

“This band has always been a labour-of-love-hobby so to speak” states vocalist Dave McPherson. “It’s always been about us making music for ourselves, that we want to hear. We have no delusions of grandeur, we just want to keep creating passionate music & take it on the road & have fun with people. If anyone comes along for the ride then it’s a very welcome bonus!”

‘Streets of Rage’ will initially only be available via PledgeMusic, with pledgers recieving the band’s back catalogue and their name in the sleeve. Scheduled for a early 2014 release, the band will also be touring in February.

The band are showcasing their sound on their debut single ‘Zero Tolerance’.
