After teasing the announcement with a crossword puzzle yesterday, Ieperfest have announced the first names that will be appearing at the annual hardcore festival in August.
New York veterans Agnostic Front and H2O will be returning to the Belgian festival, with Jello Biafra and The GSM coming back after playing a stunning set back in 2013. Hardcore icons Negative Approach will be joining them in West-Flanders this year, along with Stray From The Path, No Zodiac, and Reproach.
The UK will be represented in full force by the one and only Knuckledust, who are celebrating their 20th anniversary, as well as heavy hardcore band Cold Hard Truth. 80’s punk legends Chaos UK will also be heading to this years event, which will also see Desolated making their first appearance on the Ieperfest stage.
Metal fans are also in for a treat this year. The Black Dahlia Murder will be in attendance, and the depressive black metal band Ghost Bath will be playing a rare set at Ieperfest. Not to mention Tribulation, I Killed The Prom Queen, and Goatwhore.
As well as offering some of the finest bands from the worlds of hardcore, punk, and metal, the festival is entirely vegan, serving up a fine array of food across the weekend. As always, there will be the More Than Music tent, Zine library, and various discussions about keeping our planet green.
The 24th edition of Ieperfest will take place on August 12-14th, at the crossroads of Poperingseweg and Hazewindstraat, in Ieper, Belgium. Early bird tickets are on sale now, and can be found along with all other information about the festival at their official website.
