I know this is late, but the moral of the story…

From Lil at Household Name: “We just got this message from our booking agent – naturally we are really
sorry about this. O.K., the Portsmouth Lightyear and Five Knuckle gigs are definately off. I spoke to someone there yesterday who said that the dates were in the book and he assumed they were going ahead but I spoke to the overall manager this afternoon and he gave me the full thing.
Apparently the venue has changed hands and Carl who booked the gigs didn’t like the new owners so he’s run out on them leaving a shitload of gigs
booked, half of which they know nothing about! So they were pleased to hear from me. They had Brandon Bloc turn up on thursday but no one knew anything about it!! So, they’ve pulled the 2 gigs. They think this guy has took ticket money and all sorts!”
This just goes to prove what i said on an earlier post that almost all the gig cancellations are down to dodgy promoters trying to make a quick buck out of the bands and you guys.
