A decade on from the release of their sophomore record ‘The Answer Is Never’, Howards Alias have unveiled a live LP recorded in 2004 at The Nexus in the band’s hometown, Southampton.
The Nexus show marked a homecoming for the band following a tour in support of ‘The Answer Is Never’. “Listening to it gives me a glimpse of something I couldn’t really be objective about at the time – a band willing to put everything on the line to say something and connect with people,” Howards Alias state in a statement on their BandCamp page. “We may have had a lot to learn about songwriting, musicianship and performing at this point but what we lacked in wisdom and precision, we more than made up for with the energy and passion we gave to our music.”
