Holy Pinto share video for ‘Best Pals (’13-15)’

By Ben Tipple

Canterbury, Kent, due Holy Pinto have unveiled the official video for their standalone track, ‘Best Pals’.

“Best Pals’ is a lighthearted, tongue-in-cheek song that touches on perceived rejection and a belligerent, angry response to those feelings,” the band told Substream Magazine.

“It builds until it fights back into a nonsensical Latin section inspired by my recent obsession with awful reggaeton-pop music. The verses put forward two characters expressing their own plights—we thought it’d be great to pit them against each other in the video. It’s all very fun, until you’re being dropkicked in the back while wearing a spidersuit.”

The duo will release their new full-length, ‘Congratulations’, in early 2016.
