Just seconds after I posted the last news item, I found out that a full Green Day arena tour has been announced.
As well as the Nottingham and Manchester dates previously published, the band will play London and Newcastle.
The four dates are as follows:
Old Trafford Cricket Club Manchester July 11
Newcastle Arena July 15
London Wembley Arena July 17
Nottingham Wollaton Park July 20
The support for the Manchester date comes from No Doubt, although others will be announced.
More dates are also expected to be announced shortly.
