This weekend sees Goddamnfest take over Brighton’s Pavilion Tavern as part of the Alternative Escape. Running through Friday and Saturday, the event – complimenting the city’s Great Escape Festival – welcomes a whole host of emerging acts from the punk, emo and hardcore scene. Brighton’s own Birdskulls will head up proceedings on the Friday, with the UK’s premiere Weezer covers band (yep) WZR taking the honours on Saturday. Punktastic favourites like The New Tusk, Broadbay, His & Hers, Muskets, Giles Bidder, Murderhouse and Sad Blood will also appear across the two days.
It’s also all free until 11PM, and there’s an after-party on each night.
