Give Up The Ghost have issued a statement on their website in response to cancelling the rest of their US tour with friends The Hope Conspiracy. They write: “To say that this year has been good to us, would simply be lying. As you all know we changed the name a couple months ago. We have also been having some label issues, but that is all behind us now. We are finishing this tour we are currently on through June 8th, with Every Time I Die and The Suidice File, and going home. We are sad to say but we are cancelling the remainder of our June tour with The Hope Conspiracy and Black Cross which includes the Orlando Magic Fest and Hell Fest. We just need a break. Dealing with the ups and downs that we have had these past few months have really taken a toll. We will start back out on the road when our new record comes out. “Love American” the CD single/7″ on Bridge Nine (www.Bridge9.com) will be out on July 29th. “We’re down til we’re underground” our new full length on EVR (www.equalvision.com) should be out on August 26th…(we think!)
