Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes unveil ‘Snake Eyes’

By Ben Tipple

Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes have dropped their new track, ‘Snake Eyes’. Aired on BBC Radio 1 before appearing online, the track follows last year’s seminal ‘Blossom’.

It’s a fairly unusual one, seeing Carter leave the overt ferocity behind in favour of a progressive melody. There’s a psychedelic edge to the track that hadn’t yet materlised on ‘Blossom’. Yet to consider this a statement of intent come their sophomore album would most likely be an error of judgement, especially considering the broad brush the band painted with on their debut.
