The first is Minneapolis’s The Soviettes, who are currently working on new songs for a summer 2005 release and the followup to the Adeline-released LPII. The second is Richmond, Virginia’s Smoke Or Fire, who just recently changed their name from Jericho RVA. Fat is reporting that Jericho, a long-defunct Australian Christian rock band, threatened suit on Jericho RVA, hence the name change. Smoke Or Fire‘s debut is tentatively scheduled for a March 2005 release.”
